The Best Alternative Therapy Treatments

June 20th, 2010 by admin

Many people are now looking into the various forms of alternative therapy and are starting to move away from traditional forms of treatment. I and my family have also started following this trend and I have to say it is actually quite exciting trying these new forms of treatments such as reflexology and aromatherapy. In this article I am going to write about what I believe are the best forms of alternative health treatments.

I find going to my local reflexologist as quite an extrordinary experience. It is something that I see as a special treat, and it is my reward at the end of a hard week at work. At first I was a bit dubious about the whole thing, the idea of somebody messing about with my feet felt a bit weird. I was also sceptical as to whether it could actually work. The results however as you have no doubt guessed have been superb and I can not believe how relaxed I feel after just a one hour session.

My wife has also started to get into this new wave of thinking and has started to buy lots of scented candles for our house. These are not just the average type of candles, these are ones which give off certain scents which are supposed to make you feel at peace with yourself and I have to say that it does work.

She has also met a lady who specialises in aromatherapy and goes to see her about once every two weeks. I have tried some of the aromatherapy oils that she has bought home with her and they have helped to clear up a problem that I have had for a long time with dry skin.

In the future I am thinking of starting up yoga, drinking green tea, and also using various forms of herbal health.

Alternative Therapy – Cure Through Dream Analysis

April 27th, 2010 by admin

Dreams are very important images produced by the unconscious side of the human psychic sphere in order to send information and guidance to the human conscience.

The reason they are incomprehensible for the human conscience is due to the existence of a wild conscience in the human psychic sphere, which occupies its biggest part and is totally evil and absurd. This is a very violent and primitive conscience that is still active in the psychic sphere. It is not a distant fossil: it is a live enemy.

The wild conscience, which I designate the anti-conscience because it works against the human conscience, constantly tries to invade and dominate the human conscience in order to destroy it through craziness.

The wise unconscious sends mysterious messages to the human conscience because the anti-conscience could distort their meaning if they were comprehensible by the human conscience. The unconscious has its own language that the human conscience has to learn to decipher.

Carl Jung made a vast research concerning dream symbols and he really discovered the translation of the language of the unconscious.

I continued his research completing his work and simplified his complicated and obscure method of dream analysis. He was a pioneer in his field: hence, he could not be as clear as I am.

I found his work ready and I followed his steps and discovered the wild anti-conscience and the unique cure for schizophrenia and psychosis.

Through dream analysis, anyone can be cured of any disease. We can prevent depression, craziness and suicidal tendencies, besides discovering the cure for our physical diseases because the wise unconscious that produces the dreams is a doctor that tries to save us from the domination of the wild anti-conscience and knows exactly what is necessary to stop us from being dominated by the dangerous wild conscience that provokes disease.

This happens because all diseases are consequences of mistakes made by the ignorant and selfish human conscience when it accepts the domination by the anti-conscience by paying attention to its evil suggestions, which don’t appear this way in the beginning. They are camouflaged as smart solutions for the person’s problems.

Mind and body are connected and dependent on one another. Everything in our planet is connected because there are several systems that try to protect the human conscience from craziness, since craziness is inherited in the human psychic sphere and tends to worsen as the person grows. All these systems function by giving information to the human being and curing him or her with their messages that can be translated the same way as dreams.

Through dream analysis, the wise unconscious helps the human conscience develop all its characteristics and thus the person stops making mistakes that subsequently cause illness.

This is why we can cure strange cases that nobody can diagnose using this method. All unexplainable diseases have an origin and an exact cure that we can discover analysing the person’s dreams and their biography.

Although modern treatments are available to fight against allergies, a few alternative allergy therapies that may cause considerable difference. It is a vibrant approach for healing and it’s also often known as holistic therapy. Today many prefer alternative therapy than modern treatments for prevention of allergies or curing them. The survey made by National Institute of Health and Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America indicates that, almost 50% of the American population are looking for alternative therapies at some stage for allergies along with other health conditions. However, for severe conditions like anaphylaxis, alternative therapy is not recommended. Only conventional medicines are highly recommended for such serious cases.

Types of alternative therapies:

Asthma, allergies and other similar problems can be cured by alternative therapy. Examples of the most extensively known alternative therapies are:

1. Herbal Therapy
2. Supplements
3. Homeopathic medicine
4. Desensitization techniques
5. Ayurveda
6. Acupuncture

8. Hypnosis

Before taking such alternative therapies that include herbs or tinctures, the patients with allergies have to consult a trained herbal medicine specialist. You should understand that herbs are also medicines and may have different effects depending on the type of herbs and how frequent you’re taking them.

Effectiveness of alternative therapies:

The performance of these complementary therapies depends on your symptoms and your biochemistry. While going for alternative therapy, the first step will be to seek for a board certified provider in alternative medicine. Also ensure, the provider is knowledgeable to relieve allergies. Most of the alternative therapies don’t have insurance coverage except a few. While discussing the effectiveness of the alternative therapies, lot of people think it’s an eyewash and just given simply for the satisfaction of the patients. Another set of people think, it is just a belief that it cures but in reality it doesn’t. It’s just mind game. Nevertheless, most of the previously listed alternative therapies are technically proved for their efficiency and curing effects. Therapies like Hypnotism though not agreed as a scientific method, they are able to heal due to the positive vibrations released by the mind or works in line with the theory of “Law of Attraction.”

Therapies like Ayurveda, Homeopathy possess a long-standing history and are scientifically acknowledged. Also, Acupuncture a conventional Chinese therapy, is acknowledged by WHO for t’s efficacy and healing aspects. The advanced styles of Acupuncture include, Acupressure and the latest being Acu-touch. Both these methods don’t require a needle and considered safer. An important point before taking alternative therapy is to make a complete analysis about the treatment you have opted. Herbs are the main medicines given for allergy in alternative therapies. A qualified health care professional to show you the correct way is important. Probably the most commonly used anti-allergy herbs are: Butterbur, Nettle, Quercetin etc.

Alternative Uterine Fibroid Therapy – How to Shrink Fibroids Naturally

December 24th, 2009 by admin

Alternative uterine fibroid therapy has been used for years by thousands of women who prefer to avoid radical treatment for their fibroids. Until fairly recently, many of the different methods used were often passed from women to women within families, with no clear structure.

The main thing to appreciate if you want to know how to shrink fibroids naturally is that to do this successfully, you need to be proactive and take charge of your own healing. Fibroids are a notoriously difficult condition to treat as the methods are very often tailored to the individual and require lifestyle changes which for some women, can prove too much to carry through. However, there is no simple way to get rid of fibroids and the sooner that it is appreciated that there is no “quick-fix” method, the higher the likelihood of success.

However, for women who are prepared to take charge of their own situation and put recommendations into practice, there is absolutely no doubt that alternative uterine fibroid therapy can work-indeed one treatment system shows success rates of almost 90%.

There are various elements included in any successful treatment to shrink fibroids. Very often doctors will disagree about the causes of fibroids-indeed it has been proven that for most women, there is no single cause and that fibroid growth is ignited by the subtle interaction of a number of circumstances which happen to be present in a woman’s body at a certain time.

Estrogen is thought to play a significant part in fibroids growth. Indeed it is normal for fibroids to shrink when women go through the menopause, when levels of this hormone naturally shrink. One alternative uterine fibroid therapy is to look at ways of significantly reducing estrogen in the body. One way to do this is to maintain a normal weight, as estrogen is both manufactured by, and stored in, fat cells. In addition, it has been shown that certain pollutants can mimic the action of estrogen in the body and that this can be stored in the liver. To remove this, a robust liver detox can be very successful.

Other ways to shrink fibroids naturally include herbal treatments. Chinese herbal practitioners in particular are well known for their combinations of herbs to treat fibroids and there are a number which are used, including Concha Ostreae, Dendrobil, Semen Litchi, Fructus Corni and Sargassum. It is wise to only use herbs with careful advice and as part of an overall treatment plan as firstly, certain herbs can be very potent and secondly, they often need to be used in combination with other treatments.

The lack of real help for women with fibroids led Shola Oslo, an specialist in alternative uterine fibroid therapy to develop a complete 7 step system which is completely guaranteed to shrink fibroids. Her busy clinic left her unable to take on many additional patients but the demand was clearly there. As a result, she has now helped thousands of women worldwide who she has never met.

Please bear in mind though, this requires you to be proactive and take charge of your own healing by making dietary and lifestyle changes and following a systematic program-it is not suitable for women who simply want to take a tablet and be cured. This is not possible for fibroids.

Alternative Therapy for Arthritis: 3 Great Options

July 20th, 2009 by admin

Arthritis is a debilitating condition that affects the joints of the body. Arthritis pains can is so severe that they affect your limit body function, movement, and cause deformity of your joints. Currently, there is no known cause or cure for arthritis. If you have arthritis, you may have to consume drugs for pain relief. To reduce your dependence on drugs, you may wish to consider using an alternative therapy for arthritis.

To prevent arthritis, you need to keep your body supple and flexible. Yoga is a very effective method of keeping joints supple and flexible. Even if you already have arthritis, yoga is an excellent alternative therapy for arthritis.

In yoga, the important rule is not to over exert yourself in your movements and postures. You need to move slowly. Yoga is not a competitive sport. Hence, there is also no need to compare your progress or performance with anyone else but your own. If you feel greater pain for a particular day, then you should not push yourself too much.

Another alternative therapy for arthritis is heat therapy. Heat therapy is effective in treating the pain and swelling of arthritis. Heat therapy dilates the blood vessels of the muscles surrounding joints. You can combine heat therapy with aromatherapy for double benefits.

Warm baths with aromatherapy massage oils added in promote healing to the painful area while reducing pain and swelling. There are many wonderful herbs that have analgesic and pain reducing properties. Simply massage them directly onto the affected areas.

You should of course ensure that you are not allergic to these herbs first. For a skin test, simply add a drop of the essential oil to the nape of your neck, by the hairline, and checking for any irritation. If the area is clear of redness or signs of a reaction after a couple of hours, you can safely assume that the oil will not cause an allergic reaction.

Here is an excellent recipe for an arthritis massage oil. You should always add essential oils to carrier oil when making massage oil. This means that you should add 10-20 drops of essential oil to 1 ounce of carrier oil. You can choose sweet almond or olive as a carrier oil for an arthritis massage oil. Mix 1 ounce of carrier oil, 3 drops of Vetiver oil, 4 drops of Cedarwood oil, and 4 drops of Lemon oil. Blend together in your carrier oil and store in a bottle. To use, add the blend to a bath of hot water for instant and penetrating relief in the bathtub. Soak in the hot bath for at least 20 minutes to obtain its therapeutic benefits.

Do consider using an alternative therapy for arthritis. Consuming too much drugs for pain relief of arthritis can produce side effects and bring about other problems as well. In most circumstances, an alternative therapy is non invasive and considered relatively safe.

Alternative Health Therapy Treatments That Work

May 2nd, 2009 by admin

In this article, I am going to write about my experiences of alternative therapy. I have tried many of these treatments and some have been far more successful than others. For this article I will be concentrating on the treatments that have proven to be beneficial for me, I hope you enjoy the read.

Up until the age of around twenty I was not really one for trying any form of alternative therapy. For some reason I thought that it was only weird people or hippies that went for that kind of thing. Looking back I realise how stupid I had been and only wish that I had been more open minded from an earlier age. In a way it is similar to the way I am about food, I find it difficult to experiment with new tastes and am far happier to stick with what I know.

In my early twenties I was self-employed and one my clients happened to be a reflexologist. She was a lovely lady with an amazing amount of confidence. We got on very well and during one conversation she asked whether I had ever tried reflexology, to which I replied in the negative. The thought of having anybody play or mess about with my feet was not a nice one.

This lady enquired as to whether I would like to give it a go, lets just say she was rather a persuasive person and put me in a position where I found it hard to say no. I could not believe however just how good it was and ten years later I still go to see her once a month!

This reflexologist has since introduced me to many other forms of alternative therapy including meditation, tai chi classes and aromatherapy.

I am now a convert and I have never felt better.

Alternative Therapy For Graves Disease

May 10th, 2008 by admin

Graves disease is the world’s leading cause of thyroid gland enlargement. The thyroid gland is located in the neck, and enlargement of it can lead to goiter, which is, to say the least, uncomfortable. It is also an auto-immune disorder. Because the drugs and surgery that can cure this disease are expensive, people often look to alternative therapy for Graves disease.

Alternative therapy begins by slowing the body down and relaxing it. This means using methods to reduce stress and keep the body flexible. Biofeedback, for instance, allows Graves disease patients to deal with their pain better. Also common in treating this disease are tai chi, mediation, and yoga.

Another alternative therapy for Graves disease is a change in diet. Foods to avoid include cauliflower, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, and peaches. Also advocated is reduced use of wheat, sugar, caffeine, artificial sweeteners, and dairy products. Instead, people are advised to eat brown rice or whole grains, steamed vegetables, and a little meat on the side.

Also included are special herbs. Although not approved by scientists, anecdotal evidence surrounds success in the use of lemon balm and motherwort as alternative therapy for Graves disease. In the past, iodine was used as a way to treat, although it can be dangerous at high doses.

If you are interested in alternative therapy for Graves disease [http://graves-disease-treatment.blogspot.com/2007/09/best-treatment-for-graves-disease.html], talk to your doctor and ask about your particular case. If you pair alternative therapy with conventional therapy, you will be able to deal with your disease better.
